Deskripsi Pekerjaan

Responsible for chartering barges on both voyage-charter and time-charterbasis
This will be through the application of excellent commercial skills, in depth knowledge of the Indonesian shipping industry and Interpersonal relationships
Oversee and manage logistics procedures and barge shipments; and all shipping procedures
Negotiate and internally communicate rates and other relevant information
Find, implement, and maintain optimized routings for all shipments
Evaluate vendor barge operations according to quality standards and respond to corrective actions when necessary
Address any issues arising from shipments in a timely manner
Creating market-competitive rates and benchmarks for internal pricing
Managing internal shipping files and records for external audits
Cost-benefit analyses and other analytical projects as needed
Negotiate and settle barge demurrage and detention payments in a timely matter when required
Be proactive in the managing of, and liaising with support functions

Syarat Pekerjaan

Work Experience min. 1 Year
have an experience about export documentation
Holder of a university degree in a relevant discipline
Have a strong network of contacts relating to barge companies, local traders, barge agents / brokers and surveyors /inspectors
Familiar with export payment terms.
In depth understanding of coal commodity transactions in Indonesia including barge basis
Need to be familiar with the process of barge fixing, associated charter parties and documentation
Need to have experience in Export selling
Understanding and appreciation of the commercial and structural aspects of energy and industrial markets
Self-starter with an enthusiastic and flexible attitude to focus on the growth of a new company
Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills; fluency in both English and Indonesian both spoken and written
The position is based in Weleri, Kendal Central Java. Candidates must be prepared to travel and work from remote locations within Overseas
